Happy New Year!
I think this is the perfect blog post to start off the new year because it was such a beautiful intimate wedding full of love and happiness surrounding two lovely souls as they said I do to their new chapter together!
I LOVE a backyard wedding, in fact, one of my very first backyard weddings that I ever photographed was my first publication in a local wedding magazine back in Ontario. Funny enough it was a wedding just down the street from the house I grew up in.
Backyard weddings are always full of so much love not only between the couple but between all the family and friends. Everyone is just having such a great time catching up and creating new memories! Jess & Brook’s wedding was no different, the setting of their backyard wedding was perfect, in their own yard of their beautiful home near Island View Beach. Their intimate wedding celebration had so much happiness radiating off not only these two but all their loved ones as well who were enjoying celebrating the happy Bride & Groom.
One of my favourite moments of their day was when their sweet RING pup brought the rings down the aisle around her collar, then proceeded to lay down on the train of Jessica’s dress, and once the ceremony was done, she led Jess & Brook down the aisle barking while everyone clapped for the new Mr. & Mrs!
Jess & Brook - I hope you two are enjoying newly wed life and continue smiling and laughing with each other just as you did on your wedding day during this amazing new chapter of your life. All the best for many more happy memories to come!
