I am a wife to my loving and supportive husband of 9+ years and a Mom to two beautiful little girls, who fill my heart with so much love and joy than I could ever imagine. I am a wedding and lifestyle family photographer servicing Victoria, Cowichan Valley & beyond in British Columbia. I try and live a simple life on beautiful Vancouver Island full of my favourite people and favourite things; hiking, crafting & baking with my girl’s, and exploring the beauty of the island with my family that we are so blessed to live on.

I have a background in graphic design and had been working a design job since 2008 where I would work during the week and then literally every weekend photograph weddings or photo sessions to build my photography business. Throughout that time I ended up being published in local and national magazines like Weddingbells, as well as many online publications. Fast forward to 2017, I gave birth to my first daughter and my priorities shifted. I knew once I became a Mom I would not want to return to that work lifestyle and try to balance two jobs and motherhood. So in 2018 after my mat leave ended, I decided I was not returning to work and continued working for myself as a photographer while raising my babies at home.

I have 15 years experience as a wedding and lifestyle photographer and I knew when I was 12 years old that I wanted to be a photographer. Not many people can say that, but I was very determined to make it happen! My love for photography has been with me through some wonderful and most devastating moments; I am not even sure where I would be without it. My Dad passed away when I was 18 years old, the photos I have of him mean the absolute world to me. I think it’s part of the reason why I do what I do because life isn't always perfect, we have amazing moments and some not so amazing moments, but I want to capture the moments that are amazing for you so you can look back and remember your life...your story!
